ome people have achieved their dream of making money online, while some people are still fantasizing about the idea. If you are making money offline either by having a day job or having your own small business, you know how stressful and demanding it can be. If you have a day job, there are rules you have to follow such as you should not be tardy to work, you should dress professional and many more. And then, if you are unlucky, you might have a boss that is very annoying, short-tempered or inconsiderate. He/she likes to do what pleases them without think about the feelings of the other people. Also, you might have a boss that just dislike everything about you. No matter how hard you work, you can never please him/her. The advantage of this is that you are sure of getting a monthly salary.
The small business person has a better advantage over the day worker because he sets some rules himself such as he can come to work anytime. He does and doesn’t have a boss. By this, I mean he doesn’t have a boss in his business, but the customer is the boss he does have. Owning a business needs more work because you have no guarantee of a monthly salary. If no one uses your business, you wouldn’t have make any money.
Making money online is one step further of the small business owner. Depending on how the person decides to make money online, he wouldn’t have to deal with a customer. For instance, if someone has a blog and he decide to use it to make money, he can write anything on his blog. He doesn’t have to please his readers. If a reader doesn’t like his blog post, they can leave his blog site either by closing the browser or going to another site. The blogger doesn’t have to remove the post and apologize for anything. It is his blog and he can say anything on his mind. But if you plan on making money by having an ecommerce site where you would sell stuff, then the customer is still the boss. If you have a bad service, then can tell their friends not to buy from your site. A worse scenario is if the customer is a blogger. He/she would write negative blog pot about you.
Making money online is not easy as some people envision it. You need to work hard because you are competing with other businesses. One advantage of making money online is that it is easier to compete with the bigger boys (big businesses) if you can leverage more power from search engines by doing search engine optimization (SEO).
